[asterisk-ss7] Can't get two ss7 links going redundantly

Hi.

I built a small lab to test asterisk-ss7.

Two boxes with quad-t1 cards, .. with two T1s on each box connected using a
crossover T1 cable.

BChan 1-23, SS7 Signaling=24
BChan 25-47, SS7 Signaling=48

If I specify sigchan=24, then sigchan=48 I'm not able to make calls if I
unplug the T1 carrying sigchan=24

If I specify sigchan=48, then sigchan=24, I'm not able to make calls if I
unplug the T1 carrying sigchan=48.

When I unplug the first T1, I get..
[May 27 16:04:25] ERROR[23430]: chan_dahdi.c:11545 ss7_linkset: Alarm on
link!
[May 27 16:04:25] WARNING[23430]: chan_dahdi.c:11596 ss7_linkset: MTP2 link
down (SLC 0)

or, if I unplug the second T1, it says (SLC 1)

What I would like to do, Is have two or more signaling channels over two or
more T1s.

I *should* be able to unplug one of the two signaling channels, and still
have calls flow between boxes, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

Any suggetions would be appreciated.

FYI; I've tried.
