Hi ,
I am having problem with the first span of the Digium TE420 card. "dahdi show status" was showing span 1 as red. The SS7 linkset was up when I used span 1, 2 and 3.
Now I have moved the three E1 trunks from ports 1, 2 and 3 to ports 2,3 and 4 respectively. And have changed the /etc/dahdi/system.conf as follows
span=2,1,0,ccs,hdb3 <---from 1,1,0,ccc,hdb3
bchan=1-15,17-31
mtp2=16
span=3,2,0,ccs,hdb3 <---from 2,2,0,ccs,hdb3
bchan=32-46,48-62
#mtp2=47
span=4,3,0,ccs,hdb3 <---from 3,3,0,ccs,hdb3
bchan=63-77,79-93
#mtp2=78
Keeping the chan_dahdi.conf the same
linkset=1
group=1
signalling=ss7
ss7type=itu
ss7_called_nai=dynamic
ss7_calling_nai=dynamic
pointcode=3007
adjpointcode=147
defaultdpc=147
context=from-outside_c7
networkindicator=national_spare
cicbeginswith=1
channel => 1-15
cicbeginswith=17
channel => 17-31
sigchan=16
cicbeginswith=32
channel => 32-46
cicbeginswith=48
channel => 48-62
cicbeginswith=63
channel => 63-77
cicbeginswith=79
channel => 79-93
But now the SS7 linkset 1 is down.

I am not sure why span 1 is shown as up where no E1 ckt is connected.
