Dear Saeed,

Thank you very much for your information. But svn returns the error info: URL 'http://svn.digium.com/svn/libss7/branches/1.0/libss7-stable' doesn't exist

Could you please check it for me and inform me the correct svn URL again?

Thank you!

Dear Tian,

latest libSS7 will not work with asterisk

please svn following:

svn co http://svn.digium.com/svn/libss7/branches/1.0/Â libss7-stable

also note that you have to install dahdi first, then libss7 and asterisk at last.

PS: Guys any help regarding my question?

Kind Regards
- Saeed

  Dear Saeed,
  Â
  Could you please let me know the versions of  asterisk and libss7 you're using?
  Â
  As I don't have the necessary hardware to get it up and running, I am now reading the source code of libss7 and chan_dahdi, I found that asterisk 1.6.0 is not compatible with the latest libss7 (rev. 267), but the libss7 maintainer states that libss7 has been tested under asterisk 1.6.0.
  Â
  the function prototype of ss7_add_link in libss7 rev.267 is as follows:
  Â
  Â Â Â int ss7_add_link(struct ss7 *ss7, int transport, char *name, int slc, unsigned int adjpc)
  Â
  but asterisk 1.6.0 calls it as follows:
  Â
  Â Â if (p.sigtype == DAHDI_SIG_MTP2)
  Â Â Â ss7_add_link(link->ss7, SS7_TRANSPORT_DAHDIMTP2, link->fds[curfd]);
  Â Â else
  Â Â Â ss7_add_link(link->ss7, SS7_TRANSPORT_DAHDIDCHAN, link->fds[curfd]);
  Â
  Â
  apparently, the number of parameters don't match, so I think libss7 Rev.267 will not compile with asterisk 1.6.0
  Â
  Â
  Thanks ahead for you information and sorry for not being able to help you.
  Â
  Best regards,
  Â
  Tian

  Dear All

  Â

  I am connected with my TDM switch with asterisk + libSS7 + DAHDI

  My switch understand REL 23 as redirection cause.

  My question is:

  How can I put new modified number in Release message along with release 23?

  If I simply do:

  exten 600,1,Hangup(23)

  Â

  Then debug of ss7 shows me Cause: Redirection to new destination (23)

  Â Â Â  -- Executing [600 at default:1] Answer("DAHDI/31-1", "") in new stack

  Â Â Â  -- Executing [600 at default:2] Hangup("DAHDI/31-1", "23") in new stack

  Â  == Spawn extension (default, 600, 2) exited non-zero on 'DAHDI/31-1'

  Â Â Â  -- Hungup 'DAHDI/31-1'
