thanks, so the problem is, that i was given an ANSI pointcode x-y-z (x is
bigger than 7 so it is not 3-8-3 bits code) for an ITU (C7) connection and
will need a new point code assigned

one more question here - are the backup signalling links also counted? I mean
chan 16 and then 47 as backup = 2 links?
