Tobias,
      Is it a GSM switch ? If so, in GSM the subscribers can use the CLIR
(Calling line Id restriction) in which case the caller id is not sent. In
order to avoid this, the guys in the MSC (axe switch) have to use and option
of CLIR override in the trunk group feature pointing to your asterisk
server.

Ask them to use this feature in the trunkgroup configuration.
