Why can't you make the first two span as the E1 and put T1 on the 3rd
span

You are right, my first span is a T1 (1-24 = 25 chan) But the 3 others
are E1 (25-55 = 31 chan) (56-86 = 31 chan)

If u are talking about E1.. I think your bchan should be 1-31,  

Here is my zaptel.conf for 4 port sangoma card.

AFAIR chan_ss7 will not run on T1 links (ANSI). Currently only E1 (ITU)
links are supported.
