I desperately need help. Since installing LumenVox Asterisk will not
start by using the service asterisk start command but it will start and
everything works correctly if I start asterisk by using the command
asterisk -cvvvvvvvv. The root user is used in both cases.

If I take the file res_speech_lumenvox.so out of the modules folder
Asterisk will start correctly from the service command.

The engine seems to be ok and licensed. I can successfully use
/opt/lumenvox/engine/examples/example 127.0.0.1 and
/opt/lumenvox/licenseserver/bin/license_mgr -d all seem to return
correct values.

My permanent environmental variables are:
LVBIN=/opt/lumenvox/engine/bin
LVLIB=/opt/lumenvox/engine/lib
LVINCLUDE=/opt/lumenvox/engine/include
LVRESPONSE=/opt/lumenvox/engine/Lang
LVLANG=/opt/lumenvox/engine/Lang
LVROOT=/opt/lumenvox/engine

I am using CentOS release 4.6 (Final) and Asterisk 1.4.20.1

When I start Asterisk using service asterisk start Asterisk immediately
dies and contained in the messages file is only:
[Jun  5 15:16:21] NOTICE[9500] cdr.c: CDR simple logging enabled.
[Jun  5 15:16:21] NOTICE[9500] loader.c: 159 modules will be loaded.

If I start Asterisk using asterisk -cvvvvvvvv Asterisk starts and in the
messages file I see:
[Jun  5 15:16:22] NOTICE[9500] res_speech_lumenvox.c: Lumenvox SRE
Connector module Copyright (C) 1999-2007 Digium, Inc.
[Jun  5 15:16:22] NOTICE[9500] res_speech_lumenvox.c: This module is
supplied under a commercial license granted by Digium, Inc.

If I use module show like res_speech_lumenvox.so I see:
Module                         Description
Use Count
res_speech_lumenvox.so         Lumenvox Speech Recognition
