<p>Update should be complete now.</p>
<p>UPDATE: I just realized I didn't update the class DataItem to StateItem, and method names to setState(..), getState(...), etc. There are still too many references to Data Items. I'll address that soon. This shouldn't really impede understanding the pattern, or impact names in the actual code. </p>
