We have experience with pjsip and sofia-sip.
pjsip has the advantage that it supports STUN/TURN/ICE, which is quite a
big chunk. As far as I know, resiprocate doesn't support that. ICE is
such a big feature that choosing a stack without ICE now probably means
that Hydra will never support ICE until the SIP stack is changed.
pjsip is used in many places, including by Nokia in its devices (yes
they picked it over sofia), so it definitely "works". We found it to be
much easier to use than sofia-sip, though it does feel a bit more
"hackish" (could this be considered a feature?). Its author is committed
to interoperability testing, being a regular at SIPit. Development is
ongoing and very active.
