I assume that conference bridge variants would be supported in all
native resolutions. Selection of which conference bridge variant to use
in a particular application may present some design issues. For example
what happens if two wideband phones join a conference in which there are
three existing narrowband phones. Is the conference moved from a
narrowband conference resource to wideband conference resource? Can this
be done without interruption? Maybe this could be one of the usecases to
validate the system design.

I would hope that 96KHz/24bit would be supported in a new product as HD
audio is already very popular (and there are apparently implementations
of 192KHz/32bit audio). There should at least be no design decisions
that obstructed its implementation later on.
