This suggests a glitch on the OS or line that caused an underrun which
caused the line to go silent for a few milliseconds and the openr2 stack
detected that silence as a tone end.

You can tweak the mf_threshold parameter in chan_dahdi, set it to something
like 50ms and give it a try.
