[asterisk-r2] trixbox 2.8.0.1 withasterisk 1.6.0.10-2_trixbox mfc/r2 problem

Open chan_dahdi.c.rej to verify what failed. 

Than edit chan_dahdi.c and manually make the changes of the two failed chunks.

We are installing this one for research purpouses, and to see if one or two bugs get fixed with the upgrade (maybe even finding new ones! hehehe), we are almos done, the only problem is that we don't have a patch for astersik :(
 
We try it with the latest version released (openr2-asterisk-1.6.0.6.patch) but got these
 
2 out of 39 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file channels/chan_dahdi.c.rej
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.14779 (%prep)

any ideas?

If you want to use trixbox for openr2 the easy way is to use the version 2.6.2.3 (the lastest with asterisk 1.4) and install openr2 manualy.
If you want to do that, I can give you an step by step guide/script to install it.

I just installed trixbox 2.8.0.1 with libopenr2 module installed.
 
I copy paste the settings from another server so configuration should be ok, but I'm getting these error:
  
[Oct 16 12:36:26] ERROR[21109] chan_dahdi.c: Unknown signalling method 'mfcr2' at line 43.
 
It basically say:
 
Unknown signalling method 'mfcr2'
 
So for some reason, mfcr2 is not working; We had the same issue when we had an unpatched version of asterisk, the thing is with trixbox 2.8.0.1 comes asterisk 1.6.0.10-2_trixbox, that in my understanding means that we are running an asterisk version that doesn't need to be patched... or does it?
 
Answering my own question I'm quoting what is writed in: http://code.google.com/p/openr2/
 
"As of Asterisk 1.6.2 support is already merged in the official source and patching is NOT needed. No more patches for 1.6.x will be provided, use 1.6.2. "
 
Ok, so basically I have to upgrade to asterisk 1.6.2 but I want to try patching my 1.6.0.10-2_trixbox with one of the deprecated versions, any suggestions?
