I'm not frustrated. I just don't understand the lingo or how phone systems on this scale are supposed to work. This has been quit the education. I guess I won't mess with BLF until I don't have anything better to do.<br>

This is an interesting topic that causes a lot of frustration for new<br>
users and even implementors/developers like myself. The light on your<br>
phone is referred to as many things but mostly it is known as a "Busy<br>
Lamp Field" or a "Feature Key". In phone systems larger than yours<br>
this function is omitted do to scale (100 users seeing 100 other users<br>
activity is a waste of resources). What you are likely going to do is<br>
setup your Grandstream phones to subscribe to each others extension so<br>
that you can see when each other is on the phone. Your analog phones<br>
will not do this sort of setup unless you have ADSI or some silly<br>
feature.<br>

Don't get frustrated with this Bob, you may get it working the way you<br>
want and realize that you really didn't need it. Asterisk is not a<br>
Key or Centrex system and it can only mimic the way those systems<br>
work...<br>
