<pre wrap="">Yes it does work. You must configure the phone to accept provisioning by HTTP and you must still set OPTION 066 in your DHCP server to your Asterisk IP.

Subject: [asterisk-gui] Automatic Polycom Provisioning
Is the auto polycom provisioning supported in a non AsteriskNOW install? I'm running Asterisk 1.6 & GUI 2.0 but cannot get this to work.
Thanks

Doublecheck the bootrom and SIP software version your phone are
using... I think the ability to read the boot-server with a url or
username/pass starter in sip 1.2.2 and later...<br>
<br>
I've never used the provisioning
provided with the gui but if you try to send a string... like a
protocol, username, password updating should fix this<br>
<br>
<br>
FYI if your phone doesn't "support" the boot-server option you'll see
your phone sending request to your DNS server trying to resolve
<a class="moz-txt-link-rfc2396E" href="ftp://username:pass@10.10.0.11">"ftp://username:pass@10.10.0.11"</a> if you see that just try to
update... <br>
<br>
I had this kind of problem here last week, updating my phone fix
this... <br>
<br>
Hope this can help @++<br>
