There was a bug in the gui that caused the gui to go into an infinite loading loop if you either: (1) didn't have dahdi installed, or (2) didn't manually run the detect dahdi script. Commit 4490 resolved this issue by refactoring the location of the script_detectdahdi call.

Alexander,
Please update to the latest svn revision of the gui (4490 or greater) and verify that this resolves your issue. :-)

--
Ryan Brindley
Digium, Inc. | Software Developer
445 Jan Davis Drive NW - Huntsville, AL 35806 - USA
main: +1 256-428-6000 fax: +1 256-864-0464
Check us out at: http://digium.com & http://asterisk.org

----- Original Message -----
From: "Brandon Kruse" <bkruse@digium.com>
To: "Asterisk GUI project discussion" <asterisk-gui@lists.digium.com>
Sent: Wednesday, January 28, 2009 8:41:52 PM GMT -06:00 US/Canada Central
Subject: Re: [asterisk-gui] GUI 2.0 and Dahdi - SVN-branch-2.0-r4483

Did you HAVE dahdi installed?

The dahdi/zaptel detection is detecting dahdi it seems.

Is this your first time using the GUI on the system? The GUI only works, when dahdi instead of zaptel is installed. On the CLI> I get following message: Unable to execute 'dahdi_genconf' . When will this be fixed? Or is there a workaround?

SVN-branch-2.0-r4483 still does not resolve that problem., I checked that a few minutes ago.
