I meant to say I am using version 4397 (the one that was available yesterday...which is > 4393). As I mentioned in my initial post, my manager user (admin) has an 'originate' write privilege. I have restarted Asterisk, reloaded manager.conf, and cleared the cache/reloaded Firefox after every change. And I'm still experieincing the same problem.
