  In revision 5110 manager.conf sample was changed. You can try.

      [admin]
      secret = thiswouldbeaninsecurepassword
-    read = system,call,log,verbose,command,agent,config
-    write = system,call,log,verbose,command,agent,config
+    read = system,call,log,verbose,command,agent,config,read,write,originate
+    write = system,call,log,verbose,command,agent,config,read,write,originate
