It's ok, common mistake when people "sudo make install" the gui files :)
Glad to see you got it worked out! Just happened to remember that again :)

Thanks ! The chown -R asterisk /var/lib/asterisk fixed me.( was root)
My Bad. I didn't look at the perms deep enough I guess.
Life is good again in Asterisk-GUI land again.
Both pieces, sys info & sys status show up correctly now.
