So how does that work?
When all the phones ring and one picks up all the others say 'missed
call'
I then ring each phone that didn't pick it up and the missed call counts
goes to 2

Please explain as im a novice with asterisk

I need to use interactive voice response system to do it? How do i do
that then?

A ring group dials all the phones.

You want to make an IVR that dials each phone after one does not pickup.
