[asterisk-gui] setup problems

Hi to all,
I'm trying to use Asterisk-GUI, but I always got this error(on the CLI): "fd
== -1 in astman_append should not happen"
More, my setup always stops at voicemail window, also if I set the 8500
extension, it does not see the 8500 extension.
I'm trying on 2 different OS, FC7 and Ubuntu, same problems on both PC.
I got the svn tree.

Any ideas, suggestions?
