So my issue with that is it will cause a ring sound on phone calls that aren't supposed to be ringing. Maybe this is a minor problem, but if a phone line isn't ringing on the other end, I'd rather them not hear a ring ring sound. An example would be a PSTN provider that takes approximately 5 seconds or so to connect a call. So Asterisk generates ringing sounds and then the call goes busy or congested after. To the end user, it sounded fine before being transfered to a handler for busy / congested. I'd rather the user be able to hear the ring when the ring is there.<br clear="all">
