Subject: [asterisk-dev] DTMF Issues Version 1.6.1.20
Asterisk version 1.6.1.20
I am having an issue where in call DTMF seems to degrade over time. When calling into thirdparty IVR systems through several different SIP providers some of the DTMF tones are being doubled. We are running rfc2833 for the DTMF. I have tried with relaxdtmf both on and off. When I restart asterisk the issue goes away but comes back several weeks later. This does not occur on our asterisk 1.4.x boxes. Nor does it occur when placing the calls out through an audiocodes pri gateway.

Any ideas on what could be causing this. Was this a known issue with this 1.6.1.x versions? Would moving to the 1.6.2.x version fix it?

Thanks
