> As I am unable to spend much time these days maintaining the
> AstManProxy (Asterisk Manager Proxy) codebase, I've decided to open it
> up as a Github project to better enlist community involvement.
>
> You can find the AstManProxy Github repository here:
>
> For those of you unfamiliar with Git and/or Github, it's a new source
> code management system championed by Linus Torvalds that is remarkable
> for two reasons: 1) offline commits (for better use by mobile users),
> 2) social development. By the latter, I mean the ability to easily
> fork off branches and merge changes back to the mainline codebase. It
> really is a new way of thinking about open source development and I
> encourage you to check it out.
>
> The project is open for anyone to fork.
>
> There is also a new Google group available for discussion here:
>
> Steve Davies has agreed to push in some changes, and I hope that,
> along with the involvement of others, helps push the project forward.
> I apologize for not being able to put more time on this over the last
> year or so and hope this frees things up considerably.
>
> Regards,
> Dave

a Big +1
