Thanks for the advice. I was able to partially follow it. Here are my results.. Does this help any?<BR>

Tried ./live_zap, unload, load - but couldn't tell whether the 1.4.7.1 zap was replaced with 1.4.8; and problem didn't show up.<BR>
Reviewed your webpage but still wasn't sure hot to tell if I was using 1.4.8 ver. Don't think there was a need to adjust modules since live_zap reported the correct card.<BR>

Fxotune -i comes back with an error, unable to set impedance on fd4, failure for /dev/zap1; unable to tune even though device exists,<BR>
This error is also present in 1.4.7.1 but that doesn't stop 1.4.7.1 from working.<BR>
ztcfg appears to report the presence of wildcard ok, ran genzaptelconf each time after install.<BR>

What type of trace would you feel is appropriate?
