I tried using the Local channel. I tried Local/*43 as the channel (*43 is the echo test). It doesnt work. If I use an extension that is registered as the channel (SIP/701 or Local/701) it works, but I have to pickup the call first before it can call out. Is there any possible way to remove the step of picking up or answering the call before calling out? If you have any sample php codes that would help. Basically I want to make outbound calls but not having to use a registered extension, just the Asterisk Box to call out.<BR><BR><B><I>"Saudi Jone V.
