<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">I am asking for a little bit of help.</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">I am a newbie for Asterisk and in all honesty I don’t want to give up my intentions with this good software.</FONT>

<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Here is my problem:</FONT>

<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">I am intending to set a small business to provide long distance call. The idea is to receive calls from the POTS and place them thru the Internet to a router. So far I have not defined the router service company yet, it could be Dialpad, Net2Phone..etc.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">I have a Digium TDM04B card, I already have installed the Asterisk software but I think I have some troubles with card configuration. As I mentioned before, the idea is to use the system to place long distance calls using the 4 ports available in the card.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">The next problem I have is the management of the subscribers account. I am just wandering if there is a simple way to manage the subscriber’s account and if it may be in a graphic environment (like Windows) so a no too qualified person may be able to enter data without crate damage to de program.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">The last question, once I have the agreement with the router (the company that will provide de long distance service) how I am suppose to fix the settings for the company IP?</FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">I just want you to realize that my process is very simple, just long-distance calls; there is no need for inter-extension services, no need for voicemail, perhaps music on hold.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">I am focused in receiving the call, identify the caller ID or define a password, go to a database and verify information. The database will tell me how many minutes are remaining in the subscriber account and control the time so subscriber will no overcome the limit sat. Once the subscribed is authenticated, the call will be routed thru the Internet to a service company (Not defined yet, advice will be more than welcome) that will place the call into the POTS in USA or Canada.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">If you guys, have information about a simple set up for the case posted I will be the happiest man on the earth!!.</FONT>
