<DIV><SPAN class=437175618-13112003><FONT face=Arial size=2>I have a Cisco 7960
running MGCP build 6x that I have successfully connected to * and made inbound
to and outbound calls from the phone. When I reset the phone it comes back
up and aster configuring the IP Address goes into a configuring Phone
state. I can telnet into the phone, and set debugging on mgcpio and see
the RSIP with parameter RM = restart, being sent to the * server, however * does
not respond to the message, nor does it act like it received the message at
all. I can run tcpdump on the server, and take an output file into
ethereal, and see that the packet is being sent, about every 6-25
seconds.......at that point the only way that I can get * to take the packet and
process it, is to run "mgcp audit endpoint <endpoint>", which for the 7960
phone gets a response from the phone 510, Bad Packet, but after that message is
sent to the phone, it will still send the RSIP and * will process it at that
point.</FONT></SPAN></DIV></BODY></HTML>
