It appears to get stuck, however, chan_pjsip stops accepting registrations.

No, items are not identifiable. They only contain the function to invoke
and the data to pass to it. Based on the actual taskprocessor itself you
can limit what exactly can be in it.

Does the queue go down, or does it just peak and go down eventually?
