[asterisk-dev] chan_sip Outbound Proxy Support

Greetings!

I currently have a review up at https://reviewboard.asterisk.org/r/2851/ 
which fixes the outbound proxy support in chan_sip to no longer resolve 
the provided host. This has the consequence of not allowing IP based 
matching to work, which can cause problems. Matt Jordan has provided 
some feedback on how this could be resolved but I'd like to ask everyone 
on here what they think should happen in this scenario/how it should behave.

Thoughts?
