Hello dear list,

I found what's wrong finally... the firmware (8.5) i used have a bug (CSCsk18165 on cisco tracker) discovered from 8.3.

I flash all the phones to 8.2 and... it work now like a charm.

So it was not an issue with the rfc2345 hold or not!

Yes it looks like asterisk does not take in account when the hold key of cisco is pressed... but now I setup rf2543hold to true, and it seems to wrokin well.

So, my question is to know if there's a best way to address music on hold in asterisk?

Maybe the new way is bug in *?

I am using Asterisk 11.2 with Snom phones. My customer did not complain about the "Hold"
functionality, maybe because they don't use it. I suspect the directmedia setting has some influence, but haven't tested this yet.
