[asterisk-dev] Ringing detection

Dear Friends, good day to all!
A small advice is needed: for some project i need to implement the following logic in asterisk: 
1) we are placing a call via SIP or SS7 to the subscriber B
2) once we receive ringing state from the B we need to kill that call

The problem is: could somebody advice how to trigger in online mode the ringing state?  Is it possible using to catch online ringing state using asterisk agi or maybe asterisk manager interface?

I need any possible solution, or just an advice were to dig.  To make each second Core show channels and kill basing on this is not okay, because we need almost realtime detection, less then 0,5 seconds.

Any ideas? :)
