Do we have an approximate time-scale for tagging 1.6.2.19-rc1 ? It
would be useful for me to be able to build from an official tag, and
it may encourage more testers to shake out any last minute bugs for
those of us with systems stuck on Asterisk 1.6.x

Also...

(1) It is a shame that a deadlock fix will not be included for those
that need it:
    https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/ASTERISK-17891

(2) Is there any chance of the following, also a deadlock fix, making it in?
    https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/ASTERISK-17956

TBH, I will continue to patch these locally if not included, but I
have to get my 2c in like everyone else ;-)

Thanks,
Steve
