[asterisk-dev] RTCP while on hold

Hi,

I have an issue with asterisk not sending RTCP packets when a call is on hold (ie. Send-only). This is causing issues as Lync (Microsoft voice server) times out and drops the call after no RTCP for 30 seconds. I have searched everywhere and asked the users list but have gotten nowhere. Is there any way I can get around this? Eg. Can I compile and drop in a version of some file which will send RTCP while on hold? Is any one working on this? (I've looked at 'pinefrog' but its still marked as a 'to-do'.)

Failing that, can anyone point me in the direction of the files I'd need to modify to hack this up on my own? It seems like a simple enough change.

I am using asterisk 1.6.2.13 on CentOS 5.5 with kernel 2.6.18-194.3.1.el5, via the Elastix distro.

Thanks in advance,

Ryan.
