[asterisk-dev] Share call state between cluster nodes for HA

Hi all,

  I've just read the interesting res_ais docs and that got me wondering...

  Is there any work / thoughts on being able to share call state information
between an active-standby / active-active (or some other sort of) asterisk
cluster, so in the case of a fail-over the running calls would not be
dropped?

  Some time ago we've made some tests with two asterisk servers with the
same IP (!) but one of them were not able to send data out over this IP
(using iptables), but one of many problems was that the CSeq SIP counters
would be out of sync. Anyway, just a wacky test.

  Just wondering if someone else got some info on this.
