Yes, both 1.8.8.0-rc5 and 10.0.0-rc3 will contain the changes, but those 
are not full releases yet, thus the priority was to make sure the other 
releases got out on Thursday.

I suspect you'll see the 1.8.8.0-rc5 and 10.0.0-rc3 releases sometime 
today (Friday). Patches are available at the usual location.
