Glad this is asked. #16033 is the Oldest Patch Out There Stuck For No 
Reason At All. It has been fixed locally in 1.6.1.0, and the patch 
submitted in October 2009 against 1.6.1.6. No fix for that issue made it 
into 1.6, 1.8, or past 1.8. There are 2 versions of the patch: mine, 
that keeps inconsistency in an inconsistent AMI event for backward 
compatibility with old bugs, and Tilghman's version that would make that 
event even more inconsistent, if that was possible at all, but has a 
benefit of being much simpler.

If that problem were fixed, I'd be sad to lose ownership of such a rare 
antiquity but... heck, I'll go for it!!!
