[asterisk-dev] SIP Path support

Hi!

I just found out that Asterisk still does not support Path 
(http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3327)

I always thought would be the perfect solution to have a SIP proxy doing 
load balancing in front of several Asterisk servers.

Are there any plans or patches for Path support or do people still 
prefer to do some contact mangling on the SIP proxy to have Asterisk 
send outgoing requests to the load balancer?
