Changes
-------

This update fixes some inconsistency issues I have been having.  A fix for the trunk crash was committed as well, so no more random crashes!  Now the only problem I am having is that 1.4 will not pass the semi-attended transfer test.  Whether this is a problem with the test's design or an actual 1.4 issue is yet to be determined.

Testing
-------

I ran these tests using 1.4 - trunk and verified they all pass.  There is however a segfault that occurs about 15% of the time with trunk at the moment that I will solve before committing this.
