[asterisk-dev] Caller ID/CDR issues

I have an issue with caller ID and CDR's that I have been living with but 
now I need to figure out a soltuion. I have been looking through the code 
and cant' figure out if there is any easy way arround this.

When a call comes in on a trunk the Caller ID Name and Number is sent from 
the vendor. I then override the values and dial to the next party the CDR 
showes clid as the overriddend Name but the origional number the src shows 
the origional number. 

Why is the CDR not consisten. The CDR never shows the new Caller ID number 
as the source anywhere.
When doing a call forward I need to be able to reset the CDR to show the 
new source number a ForkCDR kind of does this but screwes up other user 
values. So I have gone to using a Dial(Local/XXX) format but this never 
resets the src or clid number to the Forced Caller ID

Any ideas on why the code would be working like this?
