[asterisk-dev] Automated Testing Update

I personally think the test suite is one of the greatest improvement to Asterisk for a long time. 

We've been discussing this for years, and the fact that we have one that is actively used is still mind boggling and makes me very happy.

Please help us improve this, since all of us is going to benefit from it. Set it up in your lab, when you find issues in your Asterisk server, follow Marks advice and add new scripts to it and contribute. This is stuff that's going to help us take Asterisk into place where it has not reached before.

Let's make this not only a tool for development, but also for production use. A tool where we can check that our Asterisk servers still work as expected after a bug fix or an upgrade.

I'm still waiting for Leif's new book - "Asterisk test suite - the future of Asterisk" :-)  While waiting for that, I'm going to read his article. So should you.
