[asterisk-dev] Patch for Extend the max number of callgroups/pickupgroups

Hi everybody,

Some time ago "raarts" submitted a patch to increase the max. number of
call-/pickupgroups for Asterisk 1.6.2:

I would need this patch for Asterisk 1.4.20 with zaptel, so is there
anybody out there who already ported this patch to 1.4?

"raarts" also writes that he ported the patch from Asterisk 1.2 to
1.6.2. Is it possible to get the patch for 1.2 so that I can port it to
1.4, what might be easier than backporting it from 1.6.2?

Are there any disadvantages known if using this patch? What was the
reason to limit the call-/pickupgroups to 0..63 (beside of the used
datatype)?
