Ok, here is my point of view:
I agree to use "dtmf" instead of "tone", because what we are
transmitting is a "Dual Tone" and not just one "tone". I think
"tone" may confuse something in the future.
Oej was talking about rcf2833.
rfc7433 obsoletes rfc2833.

I agree "dtmf" feels better than "tone" so allow_transfer=dtmf feels
better than allow_transfer=tone in the same way that dtmfmode=info
feels better than tonemode=info
I am still not sure what oej meant by "It's deprecated" - the sip.conf
setting or the rfc?
