Yes I can see the benefit of only actioning the sip.conf dial_options
request
indirectly in the dialplan

I think that at the moment native channel transfer methods (such as
refer or
flash) are not affected by the dial options. These options affect only
"features"
so in the case of tT options only dtmf transfers. If native transfers
were brought
under dial option control it may have to be with a different letter for
backwards compatibility - nN perhaps for no native transfer.
