I figure that this is the case for most people. As for Debianists: for
them is should have worked well since Sarge at least, as Debian enabled
devfs on its later 2.4 kernels. And anyway, kernels without a
half-decent support of udev are not supported by DAHDI.
But I'm interested to know who actually uses static files with DAHDI.
And who uses them with Zaptel and hence will probably use them with
DAHDI later on.
