Ok, thanks a lot Nick Lewis for your contribution and trying to resolv
this "bug" in the production branch.

"The channel name is set to SIP/<peerusername>-<instance>. If the wrong
peer is matched it gets the wrong channel name. The effects of this are
subtle but things that rely on channel state manager events such as the
call state on the flash operator panel are affected."
Exactly, it's a frustrating situation ...

Thanks to all developpers for your work, and we hope any solution must
be placed in the trunk ^^

ps for info : according to me, on a Fedora Core 9 updated :
Asterisk 1.4.x (officiel RPM or trunk svn) : OK
Asterisk 1.6.0.5-2.fc9 (officiel RPM) : OK
Asterisk 1.6.x (trunk svn : 1.6.0.19 and 1.6.1.11) : I got on
registering peer : Forbidden - wrong password on authentication for
REGISTER for '99XXXX' to 'provider'
Same configuration of register and peer of SIP accounts on all versions ...
Something wrong or changed since 1.6.0.5 ?

Best regards

----------

Version : asterisk-1.4.22
OS : Fedora Core 8
