[asterisk-dev] cross compiling for iax trunking

What trick is needed to have asterisk cross compile with zaptel ? --with-zaptel
perhaps chan_zap is not needed if only iax timing is needed via ztdummy ?
in any case the configure script looks for <zaptel/zaptel.h> to test
compile, perhaps there is a hack
to force asterisk to compile chan_zap ?

zaptel.ko and zd_dummy.ko do load with out error , however iax when
loaded is still failing to find a timer for iax trunking.
iax without trunking is working. thus chan_zap is needed ?

perhaps there is a url in the asterisk universe where this conundrum
has been resolved, for embedded developers.

finally will i need to re-invent zt_dummy , as the kernel here is
2.4.22 and does have hi-restimers in the kernel  (ixp425)
perhaps the iax trunking can be fixed to use a timing source without
forklifting zaptel ?
