Or we could talk about it on the -dev list where a much larger audience 
is given the chance to participate.

I like having new ideas presented here to everyone.  I think it's less 
of an issue to discuss implementation details about an already 
identified architectural issue with Asterisk when we're together in 
person, and in a smaller group.
