Hello,
I'm using Asterisk 1.2 at the moment, but the plan is to migrate to
1.6 after being out of beta phase.
At the moment I have some troubles with german umlaute like ä, ü, ö in
Asterisk 1.2. I have added some database entries with "database put
cidname" with a german umlaut. They are correctly stored. But
lookupcidnames in extensions.conf does not work with these entries. I
get
WARNING[11456]: ast_expr2.fl:183 ast_yyerror: ast_yyerror(): syntax error: syntax error, unexpected TOKEN, expecting $end; Input:
"TÀst" = ""
^
WARNING[11456]: ast_expr2.fl:187 ast_yyerror: If you have questions, please refer to doc/README.variables in the asterisk source.
I tried an entry named "Täst".
Is there any chance to get this working? Any patch? And what about
Asterisk 1.6? Can I use german umlaut with it for lookupcidname?
Thanks,
Gunnar Schaller
