Hi Tzafrir,
We use postfix and yes we can send emails from command line using both
root and the non-root user...

Do you use a custom "sendmail command" in voicemail.conf?
Can you send mail (e.g. using mail, mailx, mutt) as the user of
asterisk? as root?
