[asterisk-dev] Poopy (ffffffff) on card 1!

Good morning everyone.
In a box with a TDM400P with 4 FXO modules and 32 channels configured with a TDMoE link, very often the first FXO channel gets a really loud noise and it is impossible to make or receive calls on that channel. ztmonitor reports the following:
pabx:~# ztmonitor 1 -v
Visual Audio Levels.
--------------------
Use zapata.conf file to adjust the gains if needed.
( # = Audio Level * = Max Audio Hit )
<----------------(RX)----------------> <----------------(TX)---------------->
###################################*
That even without anything connected on the FXO port.
I uncommented the line DEBUG=yes on /etc/default/zaptel, and I got the following in /var/log/messages:
Apr 7 10:08:50 pabx kernel: RING on 1/1!
Apr 7 10:08:50 pabx kernel: Poopy (ffffffff) on card 1!
Apr 7 10:08:50 pabx kernel: Poopy (00) on card 1!

Apr 7 10:08:51 pabx kernel: Poopy (00) on card 1!
Apr 7 10:08:51 pabx kernel: Poopy (ffffffff) on card 1!
Apr 7 10:08:51 pabx last message repeated 2 times
The messages are repeated on and on. To solve the problem I need to unload wctdm and load it again.
Could that indicate a faulty module or could it be only software-related?
